Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting machinery and equipment. The Maintenance Technician will be expected to continuously monitor and investigate improvements to equipment and/or maintenance procedures to ensure maximum uptime and effectiveness.

Duties:

Preventive Maintenance of Equipment

· Electrical / Hydraulic / Pneumatic Repairs

· Troubleshooting Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems

· May include fabrication (machining) of custom tooling/equipment

· May include calibration of test equipment

· Maintain consumables and spares availability

· Chemical Handling and Fluid Analysis

· Installation and commissioning of new equipment

· Selection and sourcing of production/facility equipment

Wages:

$25.00-$30.00 per hour

Required Skills:

· Ability to read and comprehend hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical circuit diagrams

· Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs

· Ability to work in cramped spaces – may require crouching, kneeling, etc.

· Must be able to operate a computer

· Attention to details

· Mechanically inclined

· Welding experience an asset

· PLC, Instrumentation and controls experience

· Lathe / Mill Experience an asset
